June is National Safety Month
Safety is Important . . . but June is About Greater Awareness
June is National Safety Month when broad topics of workplace safety get greater attention and focus. The National Safety Council (NSC), coordinated in conjunction with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) selects specific safety themes for each week in the month of June.

About National Safety Month
Since its establishment by the National Safety Council in June 1996, organizations and individuals across the country have come together in June to join NSC in observance of National Safety Month, a dedication dedicated to bringing extra attention to the safety issues faced from the workplace to anyplace.
