We know that keeping up-to-date on safety training and regulatory changes is a constant demand on your and your worker’s time. That’s why Compliance Consultants, Inc. offers Video On-Demand (VOD) training courses.
Video On-Demand Training offers a great opportunity to educate your workforce and meet OSHA training requirements with greater convenience for you and your employees. And, the selection of courses is large to meet your specific needs.
The Video On-Demand training platform may be new to some people. We know that before you decide to use this training platform, you may have some questions.
We’ve put together some FAQ’s about how Video-On-Demand works to help you get started.
How do I get started using the Video On-Demand Training Courses?
- Reach out to CCI through our Contact Page or by emailing info@ccicomply.com. A representative will get in touch with you to provide additional information and set up your account portal. You will purchase a set number of credits for videos. Each credit is equal to one “view” of the video. Working with your dedicated customer service representative, you can choose the video training courses you would like to enroll in. CCI will meet with you via Teams to review how to use the portal. You can watch the videos directly in the portal or share the video link with your employees.
Are these VOD training programs OSHA-compliant?
- OSHA requires that employers train their employees on the hazards they are likely to encounter in the course of their work. While our streaming safety videos cover many OSHA requirements, to be in full compliance, you may need to provide additional training to your employees on the specific hazards they are likely to encounter and the specific controls you have in place to protect them from those hazards. For instance, while our training videos cover the requirements of OSHA’s Hazard Communication standard, you would need to train employees on the hazards and controls associated with the specific chemicals they are using in the workplace. VOD trainings are a great way to cover the general requirements and begin the larger conversation.
How do my employees access VOD training programs I have selected?
- Once your purchase is complete, you will be able to create a link for the video in your account portal. Share that link with your employees. The videos can be watched on any device with internet access.
Can I train multiple employees on one VOD program?
- Absolutely! After purchasing, you’ll receive a link to the video. You can gather multiple people in a room to watch the video on a large screen. Alternatively, you can purchase multiple credits or “views” of the video and provide each employee with a link and they can watch individually on their own time.
How many times can my employees watch a VOD training program?
- That depends on how many credits were purchased. You can choose as many credits as you’d like. Once those credits are used up, the link to that video will no longer be active.
Do the VOD training programs I select have an expiration date?
- Yes. All purchased credits expire after one year.
Are there support materials that come with a VOD training program?
- Yes, many videos come with additional resources such as leader’s guides, tests, answer keys, certificates, attendance logs, and more.
Can I get these VOD training programs in different languages?
- All Video-on-Demand training courses come in multiple languages to meet the needs of your workforce. If you need a language that we don’t have, closed captioning can be developed for an additional fee.
